DNC - On the morning of November 10, 2025, at the Yersin Meeting Room – DNC Health Science Institute, Nam Can Tho University (DNC) solemnly held a working session and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tajen University, Taiwan. This marks an important milestone in DNC’s strategy to expand international cooperation, particularly in the fields of Health Sciences, Nursing, and Medical Technology.
The program was attended by Dr. Nguyen Van Quang - Party Committee Secretary and Rector of Nam Can Tho University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Physician Pham Hung Luc - Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof., Dr. Phillip Tran – Director of DNC Health Science Institute and Head of the International Medical Faculty, along with representatives of the university’s faculties, offices, and centers.
From Tajen University, the delegation was led by Prof. Tai-Huang Kou - President, together with Mr. Meng-Lin Yu - Head of Admissions, Office of International Cooperation, and Mr. Nguyen Van Dat - Director of Cuu Tu International Trading Joint Stock Company.
Through the Memorandum of Understanding, the two universities agreed to promote comprehensive cooperation in areas including student and faculty exchange, development of joint and advanced training programs, and implementation of scientific research, international conferences, and lectures. This represents an important step in providing DNC students with access to international training programs and learning environments, enhancing professional competence and global integration in the health sector.

The signing ceremony took place in a solemn and friendly atmosphere, marking a promising beginning for the cooperative relationship between Nam Can Tho University and Tajen University. Both parties expressed their hope to implement numerous practical collaborative programs that will bring long-term benefits to students while contributing to the advancement of health sciences in Vietnam and Taiwan.
