On January 27, 2026, at Hall E2 of Nam Can Tho University, the final round of the competition “DNC Law Students’ Scientific Research – Academic Year 2025–2026” was held in a serious, objective atmosphere that strictly adhered to academic standards. The competition is a key academic activity of the Faculty of Law under the College of Law and Economics, contributing to the implementation of a law education orientation closely linked with scientific research, while standardizing students’ competencies in the context of international integration and digital transformation.
The competition was honored to receive the participation and support of Ms. Phạm Vũ Phương Linh – Director General and Director of the National Political Publishing House – Sự Thật, Can Tho Branch, along with representatives from A-T One-Member Law Firm Co., Ltd. The presence of academic institutions and legal practice organizations strengthened the connection between research, education, and practical legal application, thereby helping students gain clearer career orientation and shape their long-term academic and professional development paths.

The academic quality of the competition was ensured by a Judging Panel comprising reputable scientists, lecturers, and practical experts, representing the three key areas of education – research – legal practice, including:

With professional guidance from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Văn Long, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, College of Law and Economics, Nam Can Tho University, the Council not only fulfilled its role in evaluating research outcomes but also actively engaged in academic critique, methodological guidance, and scholarly feedback. This process supported students in gradually refining their legal research mindset in a rigorous and standardized manner, aligned with postgraduate-level training and advanced academic research requirements.

Following a rigorous and objective evaluation process, the Organizing Committee selected and honored the most outstanding research projects at the final round.
The First Prize was awarded to Nguyễn Trương Hoàng Hải and Nguyễn Hữu Dự for their research titled: “Copyright Protection Law in the Context of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Development: Current Situation and Recommendations for Improvement.”

The Second Prize The Second Prize was awarded to Lê Như Quỳnh, Phạm Nguyễn Trí Vỹ, and Nguyễn Thị Cẩm Tú for their research entitled:
“Legal Protection of Children’s Right to Privacy in the Digital Era in Vietnam.”

The Third Prize was awarded to Quách Phong Phú and Phạm Nhựt Sỹ for their research titled: “Legal Framework for Personal Data Protection in the Digital Era – Current Situation and Directions for Improvement.”

Through the final round, the Organizing Committee identified outstanding student research teams as a foundation for continued mentoring and development.
