On the morning of January 31, 2025, within the framework of the Launching Ceremony of the “Xuân Tình Nguyện 2026” Campaign, the University, in coordination with the Youth Union and Student Association, organized a program to present bus tickets for students to return home for Tet and Tet gifts for disadvantaged students. The activity left deep emotional impressions, reflecting humanitarian values and the University’s practical care for student life.
At the program, meaningful bus tickets were directly handed to students facing difficult circumstances in their studies and daily lives. These were not only material support but also a significant source of spiritual encouragement, helping students have the opportunity to reunite with their families after a long year of studying away from home.
Each ticket symbolized sharing, companionship, and the social responsibility of the University and student organizations toward their learners.
In addition, to care for students who could not return home for Tet due to academic commitments, work, or personal circumstances, the University prepared warm Tet gifts to send them heartfelt wishes. These gifts helped students staying in Can Tho fully feel the atmosphere of the traditional Vietnamese New Year even while away from home.
The program of giving bus tickets and Tet gifts carried not only immediate practical meaning but also a message of compassion: even if Tet is spent far from home, love and care are always present. Each gift represented a wish for peace and encouragement for students to remain confident in their studies and lives.
The event concluded in a warm and united atmosphere, clearly demonstrating the spirit of “leaving no student behind” during the Lunar New Year. This is one of the meaningful activities of the Xuân Tình Nguyện 2026 Campaign, contributing to building an image of a university environment rich in humanity and community responsibility.
