DNC - On August 12, 2024, Nam Can Tho University Medical Center organized the inauguration ceremony of the Artificial Kidney Unit and oficially introduced the Health Tourism Model. The ceremony was attended by representatives of department leaders, institutes, schools, medical facilities, and distinguished delegates.

Given the increasing number of kidney failure patients in the Mekong Delta region, the establishment of the Artificial Kidney Unit at Nam Can Tho University Medical Center has met an urgent need of the community. With 20 modern dialysis machines and an international standard  RO  water  treatment  system,  it  ensures  a  safe,  clean,  and  efective  treatment environment. With the motto of "comprehensive and efective" care, the Artificial Kidney Unit at Nam Can Tho University Medical Center specializes in inpatient and outpatient examination and treatment for kidney patients. The unit also provides many optimal care services for kidney failure patients such as: regular hemodialysis, emergency hemodialysis, hemodialysis using online HDF technique. Each service is designed to meet the treatment needs of individual patients, ensuring safety and efectiveness.

With European architecture, the NCTU Ecological Tourism Resort is located in the NCTU ecosystem with 10 bungalows and 20 elegant, courteous, and private resort rooms, fresh air along with a multifunctional sports court (Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Pickleball), swimming pool, and convenience store.
