On November 14, 2025, Nam Can Tho University paid a visit and signed a cooperation agreement with Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, aiming to strengthen collaboration in training, research, and the development of high-quality human resources in the field of engineering and technology.
Leading the DNC delegation, Dr. Trần Thị Thùy, Vice Rector of Nam Can Tho University, emphasized the importance of building a domestic academic cooperation network, viewing it as a foundation for universities to share resources, enhance training quality, and generate sustainable value for society.

On behalf of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, representatives of the Rectorate Board expressed their appreciation for the DNC's spirit of initiative and cooperation, while also highly valuing the DNC's strong potential and dynamic development orientation in recent years. Both parties agreed that this signing ceremony would open up many new opportunities for lecturers and students, especially in the context of rapid scientific and technological advancement and the growing demand for high-quality human resources.

The Memorandum of Understanding focuses on strengthening coordination in training, promoting scientific research and technology transfer, organizing academic activities such as seminars and thematic workshops, and expanding opportunities for academic exchange, field visits, and professional internships for students. As a result, students in DNC’s engineering and technology disciplines will gain access to more diverse learning environments, modern equipment, and a wide range of practical application models. In addition, the faculty members of both universities will have greater opportunities for in-depth research collaboration, jointly developing highly applicable projects to serve the community and industry.

After the ceremony, the delegation continued their visit around the campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, while also touring several laboratories and specialized practice facilities. The visit enabled the delegation to gain a deeper understanding of the university’s infrastructure, learning and research environment, as well as the training activities currently being implemented.
