Dear English lovers! This February, Faculty of Foreign Languages invites you to a special event in celebration of International Mother Language Day – a meaningful occasion dedicated to honoring linguistic and cultural diversity across the globe!
Established by UNESCO in 1999, International Mother Language Day (February 21) aims to promote multilingualism, linguistic diversity, and the preservation of native languages. Language is not only a tool for communication, but it also carries history, traditions, and identity. Sadly, many languages are disappearing, threatening cultural heritage worldwide.
This year, our English Club embraces the theme to explore how languages shape our identity, connect us, and contribute to global understanding.
