Campus Areas A and B were inaugurated and put into use in 2012. The university offers various sports facilities including four tennis courts, two artificial grass football fields, five volleyball courts, two basketball courts, two badminton courts, two ping pong tables, and a swimming pool to support students' academic and recreational activities.
A key benefit for students at Nam Can Tho University is the assurance of on-campus housing throughout their academic journey. The university introduced a comprehensive dormitory complex at the end of 2014, featuring a closed-loop design with various services such as reading rooms and internet access. On July 6, 2018, Nam Can Tho University held the grand opening ceremony for the Automotive Mechanical Workshop. The workshop spans 1,200 square meters and has two floors, with an investment of over 25 billion VND for its construction and the procurement of equipment for training and research purposes for the Mechanical Engineering Department.
August 5, 2018, Nam Can Tho University held the opening ceremony for the DNC Canteen. The Canteen was built to enhance the campus landscape and better serve the increasing dining and recreational needs of staff, faculty, and students.
August 9, 2018, the university completed the Faculty Resort. This facility was designed to meet the growing need for rest, relaxation, and on-campus accommodation for university leaders, domestic and international experts, and staff and faculty members.
On June 9, 2020, Nam Can Tho University celebrated the opening of the Multifunctional Practice Area (Building E) on June 9, 2020. This new facility, covering more than 30,000 square meters, includes over 18,000 square meters of building space with six floors above ground and one basement level. The project had an investment of approximately 200 billion VND.
On the same day, The university launched the Institute for Medicinal Plant Research and Development. The institute has successfully developed three products: a GOUT treatment aid, a liver protection supplement, and a DNC-branded antibacterial hand sanitizer. These products have received recognition from the Food Safety Department of the Ministry of Health.
August 17, 2020, the Nam Can Tho DNC Auto Showroom was officially opened. The showroom features state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, with an investment totaling over 225 billion VND (about 10 million USD).
With the approval of the Can Tho City People's Committee (Decision No. 3457/QD-UBND on November 22, 2021), Nam Can Tho University has established the DNC Bilingual School. The mission of this high school is to offer Vietnamese students the opportunity to experience secondary education that meets international standards, fostering talent and preparing students for globally-oriented university programs and future international career opportunities. Moreover, the school will provide a practical learning environment for education students to undertake internships and gain valuable experience.
On June 18, 2022, The Nam Can Tho University Medical Center was officially opened on June 18, 2022. The project was funded by Nam Can Tho University, with Viet Uc Forestry & Construction JSC as the main contractor, H.C.M Consulting-Design-Construction Co., Ltd. as the design consultant, and Nam Mien Nam Group as the construction supervision consultant. The hospital is built on a land area of over 25,000 square meters.
On March 4, 2022, Construction of the DNC Software Development and Application Center began on March 4, 2022. The seven-story building will cover a floor area of over 7,500 square meters and is backed by an investment of about 100 billion VND. The center is set to be inaugurated in December 2022, marking the university's 10th anniversary.
On July 27, 2022, Nam Can Tho University started construction on the DNC Health Sciences Research and Training Institute. This 10-story building will have a total floor area of around 20,000 square meters and will be situated within the university campus. The institute, with a total investment of approximately 500 billion VND, is scheduled for completion in May 2024 and will support the training of 5,000 health science students.
On July 20, 2023 The DNC Software Development and Application Center was completed. The center features seven floors and a total floor area of over 7,500 square meters, with a total investment of approximately 100 billion VND. This project commemorates the 10th anniversary of Nam Can Tho University (January 25, 2013 - January 25, 2023) and serves the educational needs of students, providing facilities for learning, practice, and internships in the fields of engineering and information technology.
January 2025, The DNC Health Sciences Research and Training Institute is scheduled for completion and to be put into use by December 2024. The construction began at 9 AM on July 27. With a total investment of nearly 500 billion VND, including basic construction and practical training equipment, the building covers a total floor area of approximately 20,000 square meters and stands 10 stories tall. This state-of-the-art facility is equipped to international standards and adopts the modern medical model of the United States. It aims to provide high-quality healthcare training for the city of Can Tho and the Mekong Delta region, aligning with the trend of international integration.
