I. Introduction
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Student Services and Industry Partnerships of Nam
Can Tho University was officially established under Decision No. 115/QĐ-CTHDQT-ĐHNCT, dated May 20,
2025, by the Chairman of the University Council.
Prior to this rebranding, the unit was originally known as the Center for
Student Support and
Enterprise Relations, established under Decision No. 56/QĐ-CTHDQT-ĐHNCT on October 28, 2015.
The Center is entrusted with a comprehensive mission that integrates
innovation
and entrepreneurship
development, student support services, and the promotion of industry-academic collaboration. It
serves as a strategic hub connecting students, the university, and enterprises, thereby contributing
to:
- Promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, supporting
startup initiatives and incubation programs;
- Enhancing student development and employability through personalized career
services, skills training, and mental well-being support;
- Strengthening university-industry partnerships via internship programs, job fairs,
collaborative research, and enterprise engagement in curriculum design.
II. Functions and Responsibilities
1. Functions
The Center advises the University Council and the Board of Rectors on organizing and managing
activities related to engagement and cooperation between the university and domestic as well as
international enterprises. It proposes and implements activities related to career counseling,
student support, and the enhancement of professional skills to promote career development. It also
strengthens coordination between the university and employers to facilitate job opportunities,
internships, and practical training for students. Additionally, the Center mobilizes sponsorship
resources such as scholarships and educational equipment from companies, enterprises, and agencies.
2. Responsibilities
Supporting students in learning, practical training, internships, and skill development
- Coordinate with internal university units and external organizations to
organize workshops, skills training, study methods sessions, academic contests, and
networking events between enterprises and students.
- Collaborate with businesses and relevant departments to organize job fairs,
providing students opportunities to meet with employers and gain essential knowledge and
skills for employment after graduation.
- Coordinate with university units to connect with manufacturing facilities and
recruitment companies to assist students in finding suitable jobs. Develop and maintain an
information system on employment and internship opportunities, labor demand and supply, to
advise and refer students to appropriate jobs and internships.
Fostering enterprise cooperation
- Maintain regular communication with enterprises to preserve and develop
cooperative relationships between the university and the business sector. Collaborate in
implementing advanced training courses and short-term or long-term professional programs
based on business demands.
- Receive feedback and suggestions from enterprises to improve academic programs
in alignment with real-world demands and recruitment needs.
- Mobilize sponsorships for scholarships and educational equipment from
companies, enterprises, and agencies.

III. Activities
Since its establishment in 2015, the Center has achieved remarkable outcomes:
Over 95% of graduates have secured employment after graduation. The University collaborates with
units such as the Can Tho City Employment Service Center and the Can Tho City Youth Employment
Service Center to organize large-scale career fairs that reach every faculty and academic program,
aiming to enhance students' career opportunities and job application skills
Established partnerships with over 600 domestic and international enterprises and

IV. Development Orientation
In the coming time, the Center will continue to strengthen its position as a
prestigious institution and a strategic partner of domestic and international agencies and
enterprises. It aims to launch meaningful and practical programs that effectively bridge the gap
between businesses, the University, and students.
