In order to meet the strong development demands of science and technology and the growing need for technical human resources in the period of national industrialization and modernization, Nam Can Tho University has officially established the College of Engineering and Technology, marking an important milestone in the University’s strategy for developing its technology and engineering disciplines.

Pursuant to the legal regulations on higher education, practical needs, and the development orientation of Nam Can Tho University, the Chairman of the University Council issued the Decision on the establishment of the College of Engineering and Technology under Nam Can Tho University.

The English name of the unit, College of Engineering and Technology, Nam Can Tho University, clearly reflects its training orientation associated with engineering, technology, and international integration.

The College of Engineering and Technology is a training unit in the fields of technology and engineering in accordance with legal regulations and the overall development orientation of Nam Can Tho University. The College organizes undergraduate and postgraduate training programs in majors and specializations within the technology and engineering fields, with curricula designed to closely link theory with professional practice, clearly defined learning outcomes, and the practical needs of the labor market.

In parallel with its training activities, the College of Engineering and Technology focuses on promoting scientific research, developing and improving training programs, and innovating teaching content and methods toward an application-oriented, practice-based, and creative approach.
