I. Overview
The Graduate School is an academic management unit under Nam Can Tho University,
responsible for advising the University Board of Rectors on the management, organization, and
development of postgraduate training programs (master's and doctoral levels). The School also
coordinates with faculties, institutes, and specialized centers in designing, implementing, and
ensuring the quality of postgraduate education in alignment with the university’s strategic
development orientation and societal demands.
II. Functions and Responsibilities
- Manage and organize postgraduate training programs in accordance with the
regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Guide, receive, and process admissions, academic, and graduation dossiers of
master’s students and doctoral candidates.
- Coordinate with relevant units to develop, appraise, and update training
programs.
- Monitor, evaluate, and ensure the quality of teaching and research activities
of postgraduate students and doctoral candidates.
- Support scientific research and technology transfer activities within the field
of postgraduate education.
- Organize annual admissions for master’s and doctoral training programs.
- Manage the academic process, research, internships, and the defense of
graduation theses or dissertations of graduate students.
- Carry out inspections, supervision, and reporting on postgraduate training
activities in accordance with regulations.
- Participate in international cooperation in postgraduate training disciplines.
