DNC - In an effort to promote educational cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea, aiming toward international integration and alignment with global educational standards; on July 24, 2025, at the online meeting room of Block E, Nam Can Tho University held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with the Pusan National University - College of Engineering (South Korea).
The event is not only a significant milestone in the university’s strategy to expand international cooperation, but also a foundation for both parties to implement joint training programs, faculty and student exchange, and scientific research collaboration.

At the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Ju Chul Jung, Rector of the College of Engineering, Pusan National University, expressed his expectations for the collaboration between the two institutions. He also introduced Pusan National University as one of the leading universities in South Korea, established in 1946.
Headquartered in Busan, the university oversees 13 affiliated colleges, one faculty division, one graduate school, and six university hospitals. Pusan National University offers a wide range of academic programs across various fields, including health sciences, humanities and social sciences, engineering, and the arts, meeting global career demands. The university is also distinguished by having one of the highest numbers of published research papers in South Korea and offers excellent career prospects for its graduates.

The MOU signing ceremony serves not only as an important starting point but also creates a solid foundation for academic cooperation between Nam Can Tho University and Pusan National University College of Engineering, South Korea. With goodwill and sustainable development strategies, both parties expect to soon implement the agreed-upon contents, contributing to improving the quality of education, research, and international integration.
