On July 30, 2025, Nam Can Tho University (DNC) successfully held the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Udon Thani Rajabhat University (Thailand) at the Online Meeting Room, Block E. This event marked a new milestone in educational cooperation between the two institutions from Vietnam and Thailand. The ceremony took place in a formal atmosphere, reflecting adaptability in the context of international integration, with the participation of leaders and representatives from both universities.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Nam Can Tho University were Dr. Nguyễn Văn Quang – Party Committee Secretary and Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đào Duy Huân – Member of the University Council and Vice Rector; along with leaders of faculties such as the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Economics, and the Faculty of Business Administration – Marketing. From Udon Thani Rajabhat University (Thailand), the leadership delegation included Prof. Dr. Khanisara Thanyasunthornsakun – Rector of Udon Thani Rajabhat University; Dr. Wanna Laokhetkit – Deputy Dean of the International Faculty; Mr. Asadang Suwanpakdee – Deputy Dean of the International Faculty; Ms. Praewpilas Rachomas – Deputy Dean of the International Faculty; Mr. Songpon Baolophet – Director of the Vietnam Research Center, along with faculty members and staff of the International Relations Department of Udon Thani Rajabhat University.

At the working session, Dr. Nguyễn Văn Quang – Party Committee Secretary and Rector of Nam Can Tho University – delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration in enhancing education quality and aligning with modern educational standards, guided by the motto “Learning and sharing for sustainable development.” On behalf of Udon Thani Rajabhat University, Prof. Dr. Khanisara Thanyasunthornsakun – Rector of Udon Thani Rajabhat University – shared insights on the university’s strengths and potential for cooperation in education and research. She also affirmed that educational cooperation is a top priority in strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
