DNC - On February 7, 2025, Nam Can Tho University hosted its 2025 New Year Gathering, combined with a year-end review of 2024 and the rollout of strategic objectives for 2025. This event also set the foundation for the university’s 2025–2030 Strategic Development Plan and Vision to 2045.
Achievements in 2024
- Curriculum Enhancement: The university updated and refined its training programs, introduced innovative teaching methods, and revamped assessment practices to meet outcome-based standards. Several new programs were launched in cutting-edge technology fields.
- Quality Assurance: Efforts to evaluate and accredit training programs continued as planned, raising the university’s overall academic standards.
- Global Partnerships: The university strengthened and expanded international collaborations, effectively implementing existing agreements and forging new partnerships with strategic institutions, businesses, and international organizations.
- Major Milestones: The inauguration of DNC Institute of Health Sciences and the celebration of the university’s 12th anniversary marked key highlights of the year.

- Implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW (December 22, 2024) from the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation at the national level.
- Accelerating Digital Transformation to evolve into a smart university, with enhanced communications and marketing efforts across official websites and social media.
- Strengthening Brand Identity by rolling out a consistent and professional brand identity system across all university-related communications.

- Uphold National Directives by adhering to Party resolutions and Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) regulations.
- Build a Highly Qualified Faculty following Circular 01/2024/TT-BGDĐT, aiming for over 50% of instructors to hold doctoral degrees.
- Advance Scientific Research across the university.
- Promote Academic Publications in both international journals and domestic scientific outlets (per Decision 41/QĐ-CTHĐT-ĐHNCT dated 02/04/2025 on author compensation).
- Complete Curriculum Materials for all current programs.
- Strengthen Industry Partnerships with businesses, hospitals, and relevant agencies in program-related fields.
- Meet MOET Enrollment Targets without exceeding stipulated quotas.
- Pursue Further Accreditation and maintain strong standings in national rankings (VNUR) and global rankings (QS World University Rankings).
- Improve English Proficiency among faculty and students from 2026 to 2030.
- Regularly Evaluate Faculty and Staff performance.
- Enhance Overall Quality Assurance across the institution.
