Business Model in Universities

In just over two years of operation, Nam Can Tho University Medical Center has become more than just a healthcare provider. It serves as a practical training ground for Medical students from Nam Can Tho University. With its modern infrastructure, state-of-the-art medical equipment that meets international standards, and cutting-edge medical technologies, the medical center offers students valuable hands-on experience.

The medical center employs nearly 300 staff members, including expert consultants, doctors, nurses, and medical professionals with extensive experience from various hospitals both domestically and internationally. Nam Can Tho University Medical Center continues to enhance its reputation in the medical field.

The DNC Institute for Medicinal Plant Research and Development was founded to be a leading center for scientific research, focusing on creating products that can be applied in real-life scenarios. It provides a space for faculty, staff, and students to engage in practical training and experimentation in related fields. This hands-on approach allows students to gain practical experience in product development during their academic careers. Additionally, the institute supports and enhances the university's research capabilities and those of the Mekong Delta region.

Producing medicinal plant-based products offers new income streams and improves the material well-being of local communities through the development of medicinal plant cultivation. This initiative also aims to elevate the value of Vietnamese medicinal plants.

The DNC Software Development and Application Center, located on the Nam Can Tho University campus (An Binh Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City), is a seven-story building with a construction area of over 7,500 square meters and a total investment of approximately 100 billion VND. The center aims to develop IT and software products to support the learning and practical needs of the university's IT students. Additionally, it seeks to create and supply IT and software products to meet the demands of users in the Mekong Delta region and across the country.

The DNC School and the DNC Institute for Health Sciences Research and Training have also been established to provide practical training and internships for students. These units allow students to gain real-world experience, helping them to refine their skills and enhance their expertise. Additionally, they serve as potential employment opportunities for graduates.
