DNC – In celebration of a warm and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival, and as the festive atmosphere of the full moon night approaches, the Youth Union of Nam Can Tho University successfully organized the Mid-Autumn Lantern Design Contest on the morning of September 27, 2025. The event was part of the program “Enhancing Foreign Language Proficiency in Youth Union and Student Association Activities for the 2025–2026 academic year.”

The lanterns submitted by English Teams from Faculty Youth Unions, Student Associations, Clubs, and DNC School brought a vibrant showcase of creativity. From traditional star-shaped and carp-shaped lanterns to innovative designs inspired by academic disciplines and regional cultures, each entry reflected uniqueness and cultural richness. The contest featured 18 entries from 18 different units. The final results were as follows:

• First Prize: English Team – Faculty of Law
• Second Prize:
  • English Team – Faculty of Architecture, Construction & Environment
  • English Team – Faculty of Medicine
• Third Prize:
  • English Team – Faculty of Nursing & Medical Technology
  • English Team – Faculty of Business Administration & Marketing
  • English Team – Can Tho Student Association
• Consolation Prizes were also awarded to other teams.

All participating teams contributed to a vibrant festive atmosphere filled with the colors of the Mid-Autumn celebration. With this, the Mid-Autumn Lantern Design Contest successfully concluded the program “Enhancing Foreign Language Proficiency in Youth Union and Student Association Activities for the 2025–2026 academic year” in Quarter 3/2025. The English Teams look forward to returning with exciting and dynamic activities in Quarter 4/2025.
