As one of the key departments responsible for advising the University Council and the Board of Rectors on building operational structures and the university’s infrastructure, the Organization and Administration Office was established under Decision No. 05/QĐ-CTHĐQT-ĐHNCT dated February 28, 2013, by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nam Can Tho University (now the University Council of Nam Can Tho University).

Organizational structure
Advise, assist, and be accountable to the Chairman of the University Council and the Board of Rectors.
Organize, manage, and guide units in performing administrative work and document archiving in accordance with regulations.
Lead in developing the functions, authorities, and organizational structures of the university’s units.
As of the present time, the organizational structure of the Organization and Administration Office consists of four divisions: the Policy Division, the Human Resources Division, the Office Division, and the Support Services Division (including drivers, landscaping staff and security guards).

Recognizing the importance of administrative work over the past 10 years of the university's operation and development, the department of Organization and Administration has consistently strived to fulfill its assigned functions and responsibilities. These include advising, supporting, and being accountable to the University Council and the Board of Rectors in formulating programs and operational plans related to the State's policies, laws, and the university’s internal rules and regulations. At the same time, the office also manages and coordinates with other departments to effectively implement its duties, contributing to the continued growth and development of Nam Can Tho University
In recent years, the Department of Organization and Administration has demonstrated creativity and perseverance in overcoming challenges and has successfully fulfilled its assigned tasks and plans excellently.
