Call for papers International Scientific Conference: Sustainable Economy and Business Strategy in the Context of Globalization – SEBSG 2025

Nam Can Tho University, in collaboration with the Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST), is honored to organize the International Scientific Conference with the theme: “Sustainable Economy and Business Strategy in the Context of Globalization (SEBSG 2025)”. The conference aims to create an academic forum for discussing trends, challenges, and solutions toward sustainable economic development in the era of globalization.

The focus will be on the role of business strategies in fostering green growth, innovation, and social responsibility, while bridging theory and practice through effective research and implementation models. This is also an opportunity to promote collaboration among universities, research institutes, and businesses both domestically and internationally, contributing to raising awareness and advancing initiatives and policies aligned with global sustainable development goals.

1. Conference Topics

The conference welcomes papers focusing on (but not limited to) the following topics:

• Integration of ESG criteria into corporate governance strategies: Challenges and opportunities.
• The impact of the circular economy on business models.
• Green marketing strategies in building sustainable brands.
• The role of green finance in promoting international investment.
• Assessing the impact of international environmental regulations on global business.
• Risk management in sustainable supply chains.
• Other topics relevant to sustainable economic development and business strategies in the context of globalization.

2. Format of Organization

The conference will be organized in a hybrid format: both in-person and online, held at Hall E, Nam Can Tho University, on December 26, 2025.

3. General Guidelines for Conference Papers

• Papers may be submitted in Vietnamese or English, and must not have been previously published in any form.
• The manuscript should follow a scientific article format, with a maximum length of 8–10 A4 pages; font: Times New Roman, size 11pt; margins: top 2.54 cm, bottom 2.03 cm, left/right 2.54 cm; single spacing, with 6pt spacing between paragraphs.
• Figure titles should be placed below the figure, while table titles should be placed above the table. Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively.
• The title of the paper should be bolded in 14pt font size. Below the title, include the full name(s) of the author(s), institution, and email of the corresponding author for contact purposes.
• At the end of the paper, provide the following author information: full name, academic/scientific title, current position, affiliated institution, and contact details.
• All submissions will be peer-reviewed by reputable scholars in the relevant fields.
• Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings with an ISBN index.
• Selected high-quality papers will be invited for publication in the Special Issue of the Journal of Science and Economic Development – Nam Can Tho University (ISSN 2588-1272) or the journal of the Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST).
• Outstanding papers will be invited for oral presentation at the conference.

4. Important Dates:

• Full paper submission deadline: September 6, 2025
• Notification of review results: September 20, 2025
• Camera-ready submission deadline: October 4, 2025
• Conference date: December 26, 2025
