Visa Approval Process
After international students are admitted, the Organization - Administration
Department will proceed to request visa approval from the Vietnam Immigration Department.
Subsequently, the partner company or the student will contact the Vietnamese
Embassy in
their home country to obtain the visa.
Student Responsibility
In the event that a student enters Vietnam without a visa, they will be
personally liable for any penalties in accordance with Vietnamese law. Nam Can Tho University will
not be held responsible.
Administrative penalties for violations related to exit, entry, transit,
residence, and travel are stipulated in Article 18 of Decree No. 144/2021/NĐ-CP, including:

A warning or a fine ranging from 300,000 VND to 500,000 VND shall be imposed on
foreigners traveling within Vietnamese territory without carrying a passport, travel
permit, internationally valid travel documents, documents issued for foreigners' entry,
exit, residence in Vietnam, or an ABTC card.
A fine ranging from 500,000 VND to 2,000,000 VND shall be imposed for any
of the following acts:

Failure to notify the competent authority of the loss or damage of a passport, travel
permit, internationally valid travel documents, or documents issued for foreigners’
entry, exit, residence in Vietnam, or an ABTC card.

Providing false information in order to obtain, extend, or restore the validity of a
passport, travel permit, or to report the loss of such documents; providing false
information to obtain internationally valid travel documents or documents issued for
foreigners’ entry, exit, residence in Vietnam, or an ABTC card.
