From May 12 to 15, 2025, MSc Nguyễn Trí Đức, a member of the University Council of Nam Can Tho University, joined the delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training to attend a series of APEC education events in Jeju, South Korea. This is a significant event held within the framework of the APEC Education Ministers' Meeting, bringing together education leaders from member economies.
From May 12 to 15, 2025, a delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training participated in the APEC 2025 Education Events held in Jeju, South Korea. The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thu Thủy, Director General of the International Cooperation Department, along with other leaders and educational experts. Among the delegates was MSc Nguyễn Trí Đức, a member of the University Council of Nam Can Tho University. This was a significant event within the framework of the APEC Education Ministers' Meeting, bringing together education leaders from member economies. It also marked a new milestone in Nam Can Tho University's journey of international education integration.

In his role as a council member of Nam Can Tho University, MSc Nguyễn Trí Đức actively engaged in discussion sessions, contributing insights and perspectives from Vietnam. Notably, as Vietnam prepares to assume the role of APEC Chair in 2027, participation in this event further underscores the country’s strong commitment to advancing innovative education and international integration.

Within the framework of the APEC education event series in South Korea, the 7th APEC Education Ministerial Meeting (AEMM), chaired by Mr. Lee Ju-ho, Acting President of South Korea, officially opened on May 14, 2025, in Seogwipo City, Jeju Island, South Korea. This important event was part of the 2025 APEC senior-level meetings, aiming to promote educational cooperation across the Asia-Pacific region under the theme: “Addressing Educational Inequality and Promoting Innovation in the Digital Era.”
