DNC - In alignment with Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW (August 22, 2025) of the Central Committee on breakthroughs in education and training, Nam Can Tho University (DNC) continues to expand international partnerships, enhance the quality of education and scientific research, and advance toward global standards.

On August 24–25, 2025, the DNC delegation—led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phillip Tran, Director of the DNC Institute of Health Sciences and Chairman of the Advisory Council of Nam Can Tho University Hospital-visited and signed cooperation agreements with six universities and institutes across the United States, including Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the world’s leading oncology centers affiliated with Harvard University.

During the working sessions, the two sides explored and opened new directions for collaboration:

In addition, the delegation toured Harvard University, Harvard Medical School, the Preclinical Hospital System, and the Simulation Center (SimLab)—innovative models that DNC aims to implement in the near future.
This visit laid the foundation for new milestones in cooperation: the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Nam Can Tho University and Harvard University – Dana-Farber, and preparations for the 2nd International Oncology Conference, scheduled for March 2026 in Can Tho City.

The Harvard visit not only expanded academic and research collaboration but also marked a significant step toward realizing the goals of Resolution 71-NQ/TW, steadily positioning Nam Can Tho University as a leading center for education, research, and high-quality medical treatment with strong international integration.

Furthermore, the visit opened global opportunities for DNC students—granting access to advanced knowledge, research experiences, and career prospects at world-class healthcare and educational institutions. This reaffirms DNC’s long-term strategy: to stand by its students and proactively expand the doors of international integration, ensuring that every student has the chance to study, research, and grow in a global environment.
