Nam Can Tho University (DNC) is proud to announce: For the first time in its history, the university has officially been ranked among the Top 16 Vietnamese universities recognized in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025.

THE Impact Rankings is a global ranking released annually by Times Higher Education (UK), evaluating universities worldwide based on their performance toward achieving the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These criteria assess not only academic excellence but also the university’s positive impact on society, the environment, and the global community.
Participation and appearance in this ranking clearly demonstrate a university's commitment and capacity for sustainable development—not only nationally but also globally. In recent years, thousands of universities from over 100 countries and territories have participated in THE Impact Rankings—including leading institutions such as University of Manchester (UK), University of Sydney (Australia), Arizona State University (USA), and University of Cape Town (South Africa).
With its transparent and rigorous data verification process and humanistic philosophy focused on a sustainable future, THE Impact Rankings has increasingly established its reputation as a credible evaluation tool, trusted by governments, educational institutions, policy makers, and businesses around the world.
Not only has DNC officially achieved international integration by making it to the Top 16 Vietnamese universities, it has also proudly placed in the Top 3 in specific criteria such as Good Health and Well-being (SDG3) and Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG6), and Top 4 in Partnerships for the Goals (SDG17).
