On the afternoon of October 23, 2025, Nam Can Tho University held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with the Can Tho City Department of Industry and Trade. The event aimed to strengthen collaboration between the university and state management agencies in the field of industry and trade, contributing to the enhancement of training, scientific research, and technology transfer activities in service of local socio-economic development, as well as to the advancement of the university’s human resource capacity.

Attending the ceremony on behalf of the Can Tho City Department of Industry and Trade were:

• Mr. Ha Vu Son, Director of the Can Tho City Department of Industry and Trade;
• Mr. Hua Truong Son, Deputy Director of the Can Tho City Department of Industry and Trade;
• Mr. Le Thanh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Can Tho City Department of Industry and Trade;
• Together with other distinguished leaders from the Department’s specialized divisions.

Representing Nam Can Tho University were:

• Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Party Committee Secretary and Rector of the University;
• Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Duy Huan, Vice Rector and Member of the University Council;
• Mr. Nguyen Tri Dat, Member of the University Council and Head of the Construction Committee;
• Along with esteemed Heads and Deputy Heads of Faculties, Departments, and Centers, as well as faculty members and students attending the ceremony.

• Support student internships, practicums, and study visits at enterprises under the management of the Department of Industry and Trade;
• Develop and implement programs to support entrepreneurship, innovation, and connections between businesses and students.

This cooperation agreement aims to promote training, scientific research, technology transfer, and the development of high-quality human resources in the field of industry and trade, thereby contributing effectively to the socio-economic development goals of Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta region.
