DNC - On November 12, 2025, Nam Can Tho University was honored to welcome Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort - part of the international 5-star Marriott hotel network - for a working visit and discussions on partnership opportunities in training and internship programs for students in the Tourism - Restaurant - Hospitality fields.
The meeting was held in a formal yet open and highly constructive atmosphere, with leaders from both sides in attendance. Representing Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort, Mr. Bùi Thanh Đức - Deputy Director of Human Resources, shared insights on recruitment needs, competency standards, and the hotel’s strategy for developing high-quality human resources in the hospitality and tourism sectors. From Nam Can Tho University, the meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đào Ngọc Cảnh - Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Dr. Nguyễn Thị Nhung - Vice Dean of the Faculty.

Both parties agreed to establish a long-term cooperation framework, including company visits, professional workshops, career experience–sharing sessions, soft-skills development activities, and future industry-semester programs.
