DNC – On June 6, 2025, at Hall E2 of Nam Can Tho University, the third session of DNC Talkshow Season 3 took place with the theme “Medical Technology – The Future of Healthcare.” The event attracted a large number of Health Sciences students from DNC.

A highlight of the talk show

A highlight of the talk show was the participation of MSc. Dr. Tran Quoc Huy – Specialist Level 1 and lecturer at the Faculty of International Medicine, Nam Can Tho University. With practical experience in modern medicine and advanced training, Dr. Huy provided a comprehensive overview of current trends in the application of technology in healthcare.

During his presentation, Dr. Tran Quoc Huy emphasized the crucial role of technology in enhancing diagnostic and treatment efficiency as well as optimizing healthcare management. Key topics covered included:

• the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in diagnostic imaging
• robotic surgery assistance
• 3D printing technology in medical supply manufacturing
• telemedicine platforms
• the increasingly significant role of big data in clinical research and community health care

Beyond theoretical knowledge, the program also offered students the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the speaker about career opportunities and the necessary skills to meet the demands of the healthcare labor market in the era of Industry 4.0.

Through the talk show, students not only gained updated knowledge but also found inspiration and clearer direction for their career development.
