On the morning of December 28, more than 200 students from Nam Can Tho University (DNC) took part in the “Healthy Students” Run in Can Tho City, while also responding to the nationwide program “Vietnamese Students’ Footsteps Run.” The event was organized with the aim of promoting physical fitness, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and enhancing the spiritual and cultural life of students across the city.
At the event, DNC students competed in the designated race distances, demonstrating strong sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and a proactive attitude toward physical training. Many participants maintained good performance and successfully completed the running course within the allotted time, contributing to an energetic and positive atmosphere and spreading the message of active and healthy living among the student community.
According to representatives of the University, participation in sports and fitness activities is one of the key components in DNC’s orientation toward holistic education. Such activities not only help students improve their health, but also foster a sense of responsibility, perseverance, and youthful enthusiasm in study, work, and community engagement.
The strong participation of DNC students in this year’s run continues to reinforce the image of Nam Can Tho University students as confident, healthy, and dynamic individuals on their journey of learning, self-development, and contribution to society.
