Promoting the spirit of initiative and volunteerism among youth, the Youth Union - Student Association of Nam Can Tho University organized the “Green Sunday” campaign with a variety of practical activities. The program contributed to raising environmental awareness and building a green, clean, and beautiful living environment.

Within the framework of the campaign, union members, young people, and students actively participated in collecting waste across the university campus, while also cleaning internal roads, lecture halls, corridors, flower beds, and green areas. The activities took place in a vibrant and responsible atmosphere, demonstrating a strong spirit of collective action for environmental protection through concrete and practical efforts.

Beyond the university campus, the Green Sunday campaign was expanded to various localities across the Mekong Delta region. Here, students and youth volunteers actively joined environmental sanitation efforts, collecting waste along residential roads, in local neighborhoods, and in public spaces. Through these activities, the image of Nam Can Tho University students-associated with volunteerism, social responsibility, and environmental awareness-was widely and positively promoted within the community.

Through this initiative, the Youth Union - Student Association of Nam Can Tho University not only contributed to improving environmental landscapes but also aimed to educate students on green living and sustainable actions. Every task, no matter how small, carried meaningful value in changing perceptions and fostering positive habits toward environmental sustainability.
