On the morning of May 10, 2025, at Nam Can Tho University, the workshop titled “Mindset & AI Applications in Modern Marketing” took place in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The event attracted a large number of students from the Economics, Communication, and Marketing departments, along with lecturers and faculty members specializing in these fields.
This inspiring and highly practical session featured the special participation of Comrade Pham Quoc Tinh, Party Committee Member and Chairman of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of My Khanh Commune, Phong Dien District, Can Tho City. Notably, Mr. Tinh is also an alumnus of Nam Can Tho University, having graduated from the second cohort of the Resource and Environmental Management program. During his time at university, he served as the former Deputy Secretary of the Faculty Youth Union for Architecture, Construction, and Environment.
With a wealth of experience in both grassroots governance and youth engagement, Comrade Pham Quoc Tinh brought a unique and valuable perspective to the workshop. He shared his personal journey—from a student leader actively involved in campus Youth Union activities to a dedicated public servant making a difference in the community. His story illustrated the power of early involvement in social work and extracurricular activities, emphasizing how they can serve as a foundation for future leadership, public service, and professional development.
The session focused on several key themes, including:
Throughout the workshop, students had the opportunity to engage directly with the speaker, ask questions, and receive practical advice on how to navigate the transition from academic life to societal roles. The dialogue created a lively, open environment where past and present DNC students could connect and reflect on their shared values and goals.
This event not only provided valuable life lessons but also served to inspire a spirit of civic responsibility among current students. It reaffirmed the message that the knowledge and skills gained through Youth Union activities in school can be a stepping stone to making a meaningful impact in society.
Workshops like these are part of Nam Can Tho University’s broader mission to offer students not just classroom education, but real opportunities for leadership development, community engagement, and lifelong learning.
