Can Tho – Da Nang, July 25, 2025 – In an effort to strengthen academic ties and improve the quality of education in the health sciences, Nam Can Tho University (DNC) held a working session and professional exchange with the University of Danang – School of Medicine and Pharmacy. The meeting not only opened up many practical cooperation opportunities but also demonstrated the shared commitment of both institutions to building a modern, high-quality, and globally integrated healthcare system.
The delegation from Nam Can Tho University was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phillip Tran – Director of the DNC Health Science Institute, Dean of Nam Can Tho University international medical faculty. During the session, the delegation was warmly and professionally received by Dr. Le Viet Nho – Rector of the School of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Danang; Dr. Le Viet Nhiem – Vice Rector, and MSc. Pharmacist Truong Phu Chi Hieu – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy – School of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Danang.

Prof. Dr. Phillip Tran introduced DNC's modern integrated training model, featuring advanced simulation technologies such as the Syndaver anatomical system, a preclinical hospital, and an American-standard educational framework. These innovations are significantly contributing to the training of high-quality healthcare professionals who can effectively meet the practical demands of Vietnam and the broader region.
