On the afternoon of October 15, at Muong Thanh Hotel, Cai Khe Ward, Can Tho City, over 20 students from Nam Can Tho University participated in the Digital Transformation Conference for the Industry and Trade sector. This significant event aimed to promote the application of digital technology in the development of industry and commerce in the Mekong Delta region.
The conference brought together delegates from the Can Tho City Department of Industry and Trade, various departments, agencies, businesses, as well as numerous staff, lecturers, and students from universities across the city. At the event, participants were introduced to, exchanged ideas on, and discussed the strategic directions for digital transformation in the fields of industry, trade, and export. They also explored solutions for applying technology in production, management, and market development in the new phase.
Notably, the conference featured reports on the Resolutions of the 1st Congress of the Can Tho City Party Committee and the 1st Congress of the Can Tho City People’s Committee for the 2025–2030 term. These important documents contribute to strategic guidance for socio-economic development, emphasizing the role of digital transformation as a key driver to enhance competitiveness and operational efficiency in the industry and trade sectors.
The participation of Nam Can Tho University students in the conference provided a valuable opportunity to gain practical knowledge and broaden their understanding of digital transformation trends. It also demonstrated their proactive spirit in learning, integration, and contributing to the development of Can Tho City in particular, and the Mekong Delta region in general.
