DNC - On the morning of October 16, the campus of the Institute of Health Sciences at Nam Can Tho University was filled with a vibrant and festive atmosphere as trade union groups gathered to participate in the Artistic Flower Arrangement Contest. The event was held to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20) and to mark the 3rd Congress of the Grassroots Trade Union of Nam Can Tho University for the 2025–2030 term.

In attendance at the event were Ms. Nguyễn Thị Phương Kiều – Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Office of the Can Tho City Labor Federation – along with the university's leadership, members of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, and a large number of staff, lecturers, and union members. The presence of the distinguished guests served as a source of encouragement and motivation, fostering a lively spirit of enthusiasm and emulation among all trade union members.

The participating teams demonstrated skillfulness, creativity, and a strong sense of unity through each meticulously arranged floral display, each carrying meaningful messages. Every arrangement told a story or conveyed heartfelt wishes to women—those who keep the flame of love alive, nurture family happiness, and continually dedicate themselves to the noble cause of education. Many of the works were impressive, unique, and emotionally moving, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. The judging panel highly praised the teams for their thoughtful preparation and creativity, and also commended the enthusiastic and united spirit shown by the university’s staff and lecturers.

The results of the contest are as follows:

• First Prize: Trade Union Group 6
• Second Prize: Trade Union Group 13
• Third Prize: Trade Union Groups 4 and 5
• Consolation Prize: Trade Union Groups 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12

The contest created a joyful and warm atmosphere, contributing to strengthening solidarity and cohesion among departments. At the same time, it conveyed a message of love and appreciation for women to all staff, lecturers, and trade union members of Nam Can Tho University.

The meaningful activities held in celebration of October 20 not only served to honor the beauty, talent, and resilience of Vietnamese women, but also provided an opportunity to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and unity among the entire staff and faculty of the university. Through these initiatives, the Trade Union of Nam Can Tho University wishes to express its heartfelt appreciation to all female union members—those who consistently demonstrate dedication, creativity, and commitment in their work, making significant contributions to the sustainable development of DNC.
