To celebrate the 3rd Congress of the Grassroots Trade Union of Nam Can Tho University (Term 2025–2030) and the Congress of the Vietnamese Students’ Association of Nam Can Tho University (Term 2025–2028), on the morning of October 18, 2025, Nam Can Tho University cooperated with the Red Cross Society and the Can Tho City Hematology – Blood Transfusion Center to organize a meaningful Voluntary Blood Donation Program.

The event attracted the participation of more than 500 staff members, lecturers, and students across the university. In a warm and compassionate atmosphere, each drop of blood donated symbolized hope and life for patients in need of blood transfusions.

Over the years, voluntary blood donation has become a beautiful tradition of Nam Can Tho University, regularly maintained and warmly welcomed by the university community. The activity not only carries deep humanitarian meaning but also educates young people on the values of community service and empathy through the message: “A drop of blood donated – A life saved.”

With the spirit of “Volunteerism – Humanity – Sharing,” Nam Can Tho University will continue to uphold and expand humanitarian and charitable activities, contributing to the betterment of society and spreading the compassionate values of DNC youth.
