DNC - Starting from November 15, 2025, a group of students from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Nam Can Tho University (DNC), departed to participate in the Student Exchange Program at Udon Thani Rajabhat University (UDRU), Thailand. This activity is part of the annual international cooperation between the two universities, aimed at promoting academic exchange, cultural interaction, and expanding learning opportunities for students.

During their study and experiential program at Udon Thani Rajabhat University (UDRU), students will take part in the following key activities:

1. Exploring the culture and daily life in Udon Thani

Udon Thani is a province located in northeastern Thailand, known for its harmonious blend of traditional culture and modern development. It is an important economic, educational, and commercial hub of the Isan region, famous for its historical sites, vibrant traditional festivals, and hospitable local communities.

The group of students from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Nam Can Tho University, will have direct exposure to the local culture, customs, and community life. Through these experiences, they will deepen their understanding of regional identities and strengthen their adaptability in a multicultural environment.

2. Experiencing the Tourism Training Model at UDRU

Students will have the opportunity to explore the training model at UDRU - a nearly 100-year-old educational institution where international and local knowledge come together to serve the community and the region. The program enables students to learn about teaching methods, curriculum structure, and professional practice procedures in Thailand - one of the leading countries in the region in tourism development.

3. Participating in a Short-term Course on Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Students are introduced to AI applications in learning and research, equipping them with essential skills aligned with the digital transformation trends in the Tourism and Hospitality sectors.

The DNC - UDRU Student Exchange Program is held annually, contributing to the expansion of Nam Can Tho University’s international cooperation network. At the same time, it provides students with opportunities to access new knowledge, enhance professional skills, and strengthen regional and global integration capabilities.

DNC expects that through practical experiences abroad, students will develop comprehensively - both professionally and in terms of career mindset - so that they can meet the demands of the Tourism and Hospitality labor market in the context of increasingly deep integration.
