Regarding road access to Nam Can Tho University Hospital, the Chairman instructed the Department of Construction, Cai Rang Ward authorities, and DNC to conduct a survey to design a safe and effective connection between the hospital and the national highway—serving both residents and students. Based on the findings, the city will prepare a proposal to submit to the Ministry for approval.
For matters related to land-use auctions, dormitory Phase II construction permits, and the proposed New Urban Area project (faculty housing, eco-tourism, retirement institute), the Chairman directed relevant departments to coordinate closely with DNC to expedite procedures in accordance with regulations. He also requested that the proposed projects be considered for inclusion in the city’s upcoming master development plan.
As for land clearance for the remaining campus expansion area and Phase II of the university hospital, the Chairman advised DNC to temporarily hold off until the new Land Law comes into effect in early 2026.
