On the evening of November 30, 2025, at the Hippocrates Hall of the Institute of Health Sciences, Nam Can Tho University, the English Club of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Medicine organized a thematic activity entitled “At the Hospital Role-play”, attracting a large number of students who are passionate about foreign languages as well as academic and artistic exchange activities.
The event was not only a platform for practicing medical English skills but also offered an artistic space filled with emotion, positive energy, and strong student engagement.
The program opened with impressive musical performances that energized the atmosphere of the hall. In addition, a traditional Indian dance performance, featuring a mysterious and refined style, left a deep and lasting impression on the audience.
The most outstanding highlight of the program was the “At the Hospital Role-play” session. In this activity, students took on familiar roles in hospital settings, engaging in direct communication, interaction, and the practical use of medical English vocabulary in a lively manner. This “learning through play – playing while learning” approach made medical English more accessible, memorable, and highly engaging for participants.
Furthermore, the program included an interview session to recruit new members for the Foreign Language Team. Conducted in an open and dynamic atmosphere, this activity created opportunities for students who are passionate about foreign languages and eager to learn, connect, and develop their skills in an energetic environment.
The session concluded in an atmosphere of joy, excitement, and positive aftereffects. The success of the program stemmed from the enthusiasm, confidence, and positive energy of all participating members.
The presence and active participation of students were the most important factors contributing to the success of the event. We look forward to meeting again at upcoming activities with even more engaging and meaningful content.
