On the afternoon of September 11, 2025, at the Yersin Meeting Room – DNC Health Science Institute, Nam Can Tho University held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between the University and the American Study Organization. This event is considered an important milestone in DNC’s international cooperation strategy, contributing to improving training quality, expanding international study and research opportunities for students, and gradually positioning the University as a prestigious training center in the region.

The ceremony was honored to welcome Mr. Michael Gamerl – Deputy General Director of American Study, and Dr. Lawyer Nguyễn Tiến Dũng – Chairman of the Nam Can Tho University Council, Chairman of Nam Can Tho University Medical Center, along with Distinguished Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đào Duy Huân – Member of the University Council and Vice Rector, as well as esteemed leaders and faculty members from affiliated units. The presence of distinguished delegates from both sides created a solemn atmosphere, affirming the strong development of the partnership and the shared commitment to advancing education quality and fostering international integration.

Within the framework of the meeting, the two sides exchanged and discussed in depth key areas of cooperation, focusing on enrollment strategies, expanding international training programs, and implementing student exchange activities. The cooperation plan aims to soon launch exchange courses, develop scholarship policies, and standardize admission criteria to create favorable conditions for learners. In particular, both sides agreed to prioritize the development of joint programs in the medical field, giving students opportunities to study, practice, and directly access medical training models that meet international standards.

Immediately following the discussion, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding took place in a solemn atmosphere. The successful signing not only opened a new chapter in the cooperation between DNC and American Study but also demonstrated a long-term commitment to jointly building an advanced and humanistic educational environment. The exchange of commemorative gifts was then carried out, symbolizing respect and the goodwill for sustainable cooperation.
