DNC – with the commission to bring the most advanced medical teaching methods from the United States to Vietnam, Dr. Lawyer Nguyen Tien Dung took a significant step forward following his visit and discussions with the President and Professors of Midwestern University Medical School on October 17, 2024. Just two days later, on October 19, 2024, he continued this collaboration journey with a working session at Creighton University School of Medicine in Arizona, further solidifying DNC's mission to modernize medical education in Vietnam.

Dr. - Lawyer Nguyen Tien Dung – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nam Can Tho University (DNC), Chairman of Nam Can Tho University Hospital Corporation, led a distinguished delegation to Creighton University School of Medicine, USA. The delegation included Associate Professor Dr. Phillip Tran - Dean of the Nam Can Tho International Medical Faculty (NIMF); Associate Professor Hoang Nguyen, the Academic Director of the MIMF; as well as Mrs. Do Bach Tuyet and Mr. Nguyen Tri Dat - members of the University Council. During this visit, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions aimed at fostering academic partnerships and enhancing medical education and healthcare practices between the two universities.
