In recent days, the central provinces of Vietnam have continued to suffer severe losses caused by floods and natural disasters. In response to this situation, the Vietnamese tradition of solidarity and mutual support has once again been strongly demonstrated—particularly within the student community of Nam Can Tho University, especially among members of the Can Tho Student Association – Affiliated Branch.
Answering the call to support flood-affected communities, the affiliated student chapters of the Can Tho Student Association-including Can Tho Student Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and Chapter 3—quickly mobilized to prepare, sort, package, and transport relief supplies, ready to deliver them to the central region.
In an atmosphere that was both urgent and filled with warmth and compassion, students and youth members worked together to sort clothing, organize essential supplies, and load relief goods onto transport vehicles. Despite unfavorable weather conditions and physically demanding work, the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and youthful enthusiasm of DNC students was clearly reflected on every face.
Alongside preparation efforts, the student chapters closely coordinated with sponsors and social organizations to ensure that relief resources were allocated promptly, sufficiently, and transparently. Each gift, regardless of size, carried heartfelt care, trust, and solidarity from the people of Can Tho to their fellow citizens in the central region. Images of flood victims struggling against rising waters and rescue forces working tirelessly further strengthened the spirit of initiative and volunteerism among DNC students. This activity not only provided material support but also stood as a powerful testament to the compassion and sense of community responsibility of today’s young generation.
“Sending Trust - Sharing Hope” was not merely a slogan, but a message clearly expressed through concrete and meaningful actions.
It is believed that with the collective efforts of the community and strong national solidarity, people in the central region will soon overcome these hardships, stabilize their lives, and move forward with resilience. Once again, members of the Can Tho Student Association Affiliated Branch have affirmed the vital role of youth in the cause of national development and protection-always ready to step forward in times of difficulty to support communities in need.
