On May 26, 2024, the Tra Vinh Student Association of Nam Can Tho University, in collaboration with the Cau Ke Student Chapter, the Cang Long Student Chapter, and the local forces of Tam Ngai Commune (Cau Ke District), organized a talk show on environmental protection and introduced new technological solutions for waste management and treatment. These activities aimed to gradually raise awareness and shape good habits of preserving the living environment among local residents. This also helped improve the canal and waterway system by clearing out the water hyacinths that obstructed the flow.
In response to the “Green Sunday” movement, the Tra Vinh Student Association encouraged the spirit of volunteerism, contributing their youthful energy to community benefits. By working together for a “Green – Clean – Beautiful” environment, the program helped improve the local landscape and enhance the quality of life.
This meaningful activity strengthened the spirit of volunteerism and community service of Nam Can Tho University’s Tra Vinh students. All efforts clearly demonstrated the social responsibility and pioneering role of DNC youth in building a sustainable, green, clean, and beautiful community.
