On the morning of May 15, 2025, Nam Can Tho University organized a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with two leading enterprises in the tourism and service sectors in the Mekong Delta region: Hai Au Can Tho Hotel - Restaurant - Tourism Co., Ltd. and My Khanh Ecotourism Co., Ltd.
The signing ceremony between Nam Can Tho University, Hai Au Can Tho Hotel - Restaurant - Tourism Co., Ltd., and My Khanh Ecotourism Co., Ltd. was attended by key representatives from each party. From Hai Au Can Tho Hotel - Restaurant - Tourism Co., Ltd., the representatives were Mr. Nguyen Hoang – Business Manager, Mr. Tran Thanh Quang – Business Manager, and Ms. Pham Thanh Hien – General Manager of Bao Gia Trang Vien. Representing My Khanh Ecotourism Co., Ltd. was Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoang – Deputy Director of My Khanh Tourist Village.

Representing Nam Can Tho University at the signing ceremony were Dr. Nguyen Van Quang – Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Canh – Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management; Dr. Nguyen Thi Nhung – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management; along with lecturers from the faculty, representatives from the Media Department, and the Student Startup & Enterprise Cooperation Center. The presence of these delegates demonstrates a strong commitment to promoting strategic cooperation between the university and businesses.

The cooperation agreement between the parties focuses on key areas such as: jointly developing practical training programs that meet the actual needs of the tourism and service industries; creating internship and hands-on experience opportunities for students at Hai Au Can Tho’s facilities and My Khanh Tourism Village; and supporting the recruitment of qualified graduates to work at the two companies. Additionally, the parties are committed to sharing resources, experience, and technology to enhance training quality and develop applied research projects in the field of sustainable tourism.
This collaboration not only creates opportunities for DNC students majoring in tourism and services to access a professional working environment, but also helps strengthen the connection between theory and practice. As a result, it enhances the university’s position in training high-quality human resources for the tourism industry

The signing ceremony marks a significant step forward in the strategic partnership between Nam Can Tho University and the participating businesses, promising to bring practical value to both sides, as well as to the student community and the regional tourism industry. In the coming time, the parties will continue to implement concrete activities to realize the agreed-upon goals, contributing to the sustainable development of the tourism and service sectors in the Mekong Delta region.
