On August 6, 2025, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Nam Can Tho University, convened a council meeting to review research proposals for the 2025–2026 academic year.
A total of 21 proposals were presented and received professional feedback from council members, with the aim of promoting and enhancing the quality of training in the English Language Studies program in the new phase.
During the session, principal investigators and team members presented an overview of the literature, research content, objectives, methods, as well as conclusions and references. Based on these presentations, council members provided constructive scientific feedback and recommendations, requesting the teams to revise and finalize their proposals to ensure feasibility, applicability, and alignment with the research orientation of the Faculty and the University.
The session was not only an opportunity to evaluate and refine research proposals but also served as a forum for faculty members to engage in academic exchange and share experiences in conducting scientific research. This activity reaffirmed the Faculty’s continuous efforts to foster research capacity and strengthen teaching effectiveness.
The in-depth professional contributions and active participation of faculty members made the session a productive and meaningful one, contributing to the improvement of research activities. The meeting concluded with renewed motivation and expectations for the 2025–2026 academic year.
