On June 26, 2025, Nam Can Tho University (DNC) solemnly organized a special screening of the film Nga Ba Dong Loc at Hippocrates Hall, in commemoration of Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27). The event gathered a large number of lecturers, students, and local residents, creating a meaningful atmosphere of remembrance and gratitude.
The film Nga Ba Dong Loc vividly and emotionally portrays the heroic sacrifice of the ten young female volunteers at Dong Loc T-junction—an immortal symbol of courage, patriotism, and resilience of Vietnamese youth during the resistance war against America. Through moving images and stories, the screening deeply touched the audience, evoking pride in the nation’s history and profound gratitude for the martyrs who gave their lives for independence and freedom.
This cultural activity was not only an opportunity for DNC students to pay tribute and honor the great contributions of previous generations, but also a meaningful lesson in nurturing ideals, responsibility, and the aspiration to serve the country. The screening reinforced the spirit of “Remembering the source when drinking water” and inspired young generations to continue promoting the traditions of patriotism and national unity in the period of integration and development.
