In the early days of October, as people across the country turned their thoughts to the Northern region with concern and sorrow over the severe damage caused by storms and floods, the spirit of “mutual support” and “helping those in need” was strongly felt at Nam Can Tho University. This compassion resonated deeply in every classroom, every lecture hall, and within the hearts of DNC students.
In response to reports of isolated areas, homes swept away, and countless families facing hardship after the natural disasters, students at Nam Can Tho University quickly launched donation and support campaigns for the people in the Northern region. From small gifts such as clothing, books, and essential supplies to monetary contributions, every offering carried sincere compassion—a heartfelt gesture of solidarity from the youth of DNC to those affected far away.
The campaign supporting the Northern region went beyond concrete actions—it became an opportunity for DNC students to demonstrate the courage, responsibility, and compassion of their generation. Many students volunteered to handle tasks such as transporting, sorting donations, and preparing gift packages for shipment. The moments spent together carefully packing each gift and writing heartfelt messages stand as a testament to the unity and kindness spreading throughout the DNC student community.
The University Leadership, teachers, staff, and entire student body share a common wish: to contribute in their own small way to helping the people of the Northern region overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and recover from the storms and floods. Every contribution, no matter how small, is a spark of humanity and a continuation of the spirit of sharing—a precious tradition of the Vietnamese people. Nam Can Tho University firmly believes that when hearts come together, every hardship can be overcome.
“For our beloved North, for a compassionate and resilient Vietnam, the hearts of DNC students beat as one, sending love and support to our cherished Northern homeland!”
