SGTT - Nam Can Tho University (DNC) awarded graduation degrees to 812 new graduates, including 237 medical doctors, 276 pharmacists, and 299 bachelor's degree holders in medical laboratory technology and medical imaging technology from the 2019–2025 cohort on the morning of July 20, 2025.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Rector of DNC, congratulated the new graduates in the health sector and expressed hope that they would seize opportunities from digital transformation to apply advanced medical solutions, continue improving their expertise, uphold medical ethics, and prioritize the health and well-being of the people.

According to the university, around 20 newly graduated doctors from this cohort will be retained to work at Nam Can Tho University Hospital and other healthcare units within the DNC ecosystem, contributing to reducing the workload at public hospitals in the local area.

During the training of health science majors, DNC collaborated with several reputable medical facilities such as Hue Central General Hospital, Can Tho Central General Hospital, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, and Nam Can Tho University Hospital. Students in health-related majors had the opportunity to study and practice directly at Nam Can Tho University Hospital, the Health Sciences Institute, and the University's Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and Development.

According to DNC, over 12 years since its establishment, the university currently ranks 61st among over 230 universities nationwide and offers 45 regular undergraduate programs, 8 master’s programs, 3 first-level specialization programs, and 2 doctoral programs. More than 22,000 learners and students are currently studying at the university, and over 13,000 have graduated, contributing quality human resources to Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta region.
