In today’s rapidly globalizing educational landscape, Nam Can Tho University (DNC) continues to advance international cooperation, creating diverse opportunities for learning, research, and academic exchange for both faculty and students. In alignment with Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW (August 22, 2025) of the Central Committee on breakthroughs in education and training, DNC has launched multiple initiatives to connect with prestigious universities worldwide.

On August 22–23, 2025, a delegation from Nam Can Tho University and Nam Can Tho University Hospital—led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phillip Tran, Director of the DNC Institute of Health Sciences and Chairman of the Medical Advisory Council of Nam Can Tho University Hospital—visited and held meetings with several major universities in the state of Virginia, USA.

At the conclusion of the visit, DNC formally signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with five member universities of the Virginia Tech system, marking an important milestone in its strategy of internationalization and in raising the quality of training and research.

Later the same day, the delegation continued to New England College, where an additional MOU was signed with the College President, adding another distinguished partner to DNC’s global collaboration network.
The working visit was a resounding success, opening new avenues for academic exchange, research collaboration, and international engagement—further affirming Nam Can Tho University’s position on the global education map.
