With an educational orientation that closely integrates theory with practice, on January 13, 2026, the Faculty of Business Administration and Marketing of Nam Can Tho University organized a field trip and practical experience program for students majoring in International Business at the Independence Palace and Tan Cang – Cat Lai Port (Ho Chi Minh City).
At the Independence Palace, students had the opportunity to directly explore historical, cultural, and political values associated with significant milestones in the nation’s history. The profound historical setting helped broaden students’ social awareness, nurture critical thinking, and strengthen a sense of civic responsibility—fundamental qualities for students pursuing business studies in the context of globalization.
Continuing the day’s itinerary, the delegation visited Tan Cang – Cat Lai Port, one of the largest and most modern container ports in Vietnam. Here, International Business students were able to directly observe logistics processes, import–export operations, supply chain management, and port operations, thereby gaining a clearer understanding of the crucial role of logistics in global trade and international business.
Exposure to a real working environment enabled students to closely connect classroom knowledge with production and business activities, while enhancing their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical contexts.
The field trip on January 13, 2026 not only provided vivid learning experiences but also helped students gain a clearer understanding of their career orientation in fields such as import–export, logistics, international trade, and supply chain management.

Many students shared that the trip created additional learning motivation and helped them become more confident in preparing themselves to become high-quality human resources, meeting the demands of the labor market in the context of deep international integration.
The field trip and practical experience activities serve as a vivid demonstration of the efforts of the Faculty of Business Administration and Marketing, Nam Can Tho University, in innovating teaching methods and focusing on the development of practical competencies and professional skills for students.
In the coming time, the Faculty will continue to promote practice-oriented learning programs, thereby contributing to improving training quality and providing students with comprehensive learning experiences.
