DNC - On the afternoon of June 7, 2023, the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between Nam Can Tho University and Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group – Can Tho Branch took place at Nam Can Tho University. This event affirms and expands the cooperative relationship in training and developing high-quality human resources, contributing to the economic development of the country in general and the Mekong Delta region in particular.

Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Nam Can Tho University were: Dr. Lawyer. Nguyen Tien Dung – Chairman of the University Council; Labour Hero – People's Teacher – Professor – Dr. Vo Tong Xuan – Honorary Rector of the University; Dr. Nguyen Van Quang – Rector of the University; and Dr. Tran Huu Xinh – Vice Rector of the University.

On behalf of Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group – Can Tho Branch were: Mr. Huynh Trung Kien – Director of Viettel Can Tho; Mr. Le Hong Phuc – Deputy Director of IT Solutions; Mr. Dam Thai Thuoc – Deputy Director of Enterprise Customers; Mr. Le Tan Duc – Deputy Director of Individual Customers; Mr. Trinh Ngoc Kien – Director of Viettel Can Tho Construction Branch; and Mr. Dang Trong Man – Director of Viettel Can Tho Post Branch.

The signing of the cooperation agreement marks a new stage in the development of collaboration between the two parties, aiming to leverage the potential of both sides in terms of facilities, human resources, and experience. The purpose is to strengthen the partnership between Nam Can Tho University and Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group – Can Tho Branch, and to establish a communication channel between the University and the enterprise for brand promotion and the provision of high-quality human resources to society. In addition, the cooperation will support the University in organizing student internships, field trips, and job placements at the enterprise. Scholarships will also be awarded to underprivileged students with outstanding academic achievements. Furthermore, both sides will coordinate to organize various programs and events for learners.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Quang – Rector of Nam Can Tho University – shared: "Nam Can Tho University is always ready to support and create favorable conditions for enterprises to get closer to students, thereby providing timely assistance when students are in need of jobs or internships that align with their fields of study and meet their actual needs. More importantly, this marks the beginning of many meaningful and important future projects between both parties."

This cooperation agreement serves as a foundation for both parties to jointly develop specific and detailed cooperation plans in order to effectively leverage their resources and advantages to achieve the set goals.
