As part of the academic exchange program, students from National Central University (NCU), Taiwan, embarked on a rich and diverse cultural immersion journey in Can Tho. From iconic urban destinations to spiritual spaces, sports activities, and academic experiences, each stop offered fresh, vivid, and authentic perspectives on the people and culture of the Southwestern region of Vietnam.
The journey began at Ninh Kieu Night Market – the vibrant heartbeat of the city after dark. Under dazzling lights, NCU students immersed themselves in a world of diverse Western Mekong cuisine, from fragrant grilled dishes to irresistible street–style snacks. This was not only a culinary experience but also an opportunity to observe the modern, energetic, and bustling lifestyle of the local community.
Continuing their journey, the NCU student group visited Vincom Xuan Khanh, one of the most modern commercial centers in Can Tho. Here, the students witnessed firsthand the dynamic growth of a young, rapidly developing city while enjoying high-quality shopping, dining, and entertainment services. This experience offered Taiwanese students a comprehensive perspective on the city’s economic development and contemporary urban life.
